I wanted to feel healthy, young, and agile. I played various sports throughout the week and maybe would hit the gym for a few months then die off.
"I wanted to make it a part of my lifestyle. "SO I set a time, created a routine I would work on everyday. I looked at what I wanted to improve and went after it. What helped is asking others on what helps build what. Very focused on gaining muscle mass. To my amazement, I broke past a couple plateaus and gained about 12 pounds of HULK like muscle. My body had some type of steroid hidden inside.....kidding.
Recently, I debated whether I should bulk up further or become more lean and ripped. I thought about what is most important to me.
What were my initial goals for working out?
Of course I wanted to continue woking out, but what methods would work best?
My two options:
- Continue body building, lifting heavier, and widening my lift variations.
- Crossfit. Heavy cardio based lifting with whole body workouts that incorporate Olympic style lifting.
Crossfit!!
